I've only been running a week, and I've ran more this week than I have since high school (10 years ago). I did have a gym teacher that swore I should run cross country, but I was more interested in other aspects of teenage life.
Short-Term Running Goals:
I'd like to run a couple of 5 Ks and run to be in better shape, but I don't think I'll want to do longer runs. But who knows what the future holds? Right?
Long-Term Running Goals:
I'd like to continue running for some social/me time/keep in shape time... but nothing excessive. I have too many hobbies. I can't afford to become obsessive about another one.
Personal:
I've been married for 8 years and have 4 kids. My oldest is in 1st grade, and my youngest will be turning 1 soon. I'm ready to lose this extra baby weight I've been hanging on to. I'm training with my 6 and 4 year olds.
